National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (NKUA), a public university founded in 1837, runs a fee-paying Medical Degree English Program for non-Greek nationals through its School of Medicine. Tuition for the 2026-2027 intake is EUR 17,000 per academic year, and applicants need IELTS 7.5 overall (6.5 minimum per component) or TOEFL 80, or an equivalent English-medium schooling background.
