Requirements
Bachelor (integrated Medical Degree)
Completion of the final two years of high school in a foreign country, with a diploma or predicted results that qualify the holder for higher education admission in the country of graduation, plus one of: International Baccalaureate (36 points overall, including three higher-level subjects with two from Physics, Chemistry or Biology, and three standard-level subjects), French Baccalaureate (16/20 overall with at least 15 in Physics, Chemistry and Biology), European Baccalaureate (85 percent overall including 8.5 in Chemistry and Biology, with Mathematics and/or Physics included), A-Levels (AAA in Chemistry, Biology and one further science subject), UCAT, MCAT, four or more Advanced Placement exams (including AP Biology and AP Chemistry) with a high SAT score, a BSc cognate to medicine (minimum 65 percent or equivalent), or a recognised pre-med program covering Biology, General Chemistry, Organic Chemistry and Physics with labs.
Master
Not applicable; NKUA's non-EU fee-paying English-taught offer covered by this record is the integrated Medical Degree program, which does not have a separate master's stage.
Documents
National ID card or passport; high school graduation diploma; academic transcripts for the final two years of high school, in the original language and with an official English translation; the qualifying baccalaureate, A-Level or admission test result (or predicted grades for final-year students); an English language competency certificate where applicable (TOEFL, IELTS or FCE), unless exempt as a native speaker or graduate of an English-medium high school; a short curriculum vitae; a brief personal statement; and optional reference letters, which must carry a letterhead, referee contact details and a signature to be considered valid. Diplomas and transcripts must later be apostilled (for Hague Convention countries) or notarised by the relevant Hellenic consulate or embassy.
How to apply
- Collect the required documents: identification, diploma, transcripts with English translation, qualifying test or baccalaureate result, English certificate where applicable, CV, personal statement and optional reference letters.
- Submit the application on the program's online application platform; an automatic email confirms the Application ID.
- Have the high school diploma and final two years' transcripts apostilled or notarised.
- If the file is complete, the Program Committee reviews it and may invite the applicant to an online interview.
- Successful applicants receive a conditional or unconditional acceptance letter.
- To secure a place, pay a non-refundable EUR 5,000 deposit by the deadline in the acceptance letter, then pay the remaining EUR 12,000 tuition in two instalments (early September and mid-January).
English test waiver
An English language competency certificate (TOEFL, IELTS or FCE) is not required for English native speakers, or for applicants who hold a graduation diploma from a high school where the language of instruction was English.
