NTU undergraduate tuition before the MOE Tuition Grant is S$36,350 a year for non-laboratory programmes, S$40,600 for laboratory-based programmes, and S$45,600 for Business, all inclusive of GST. Students who are awarded the Tuition Grant pay a substantially lower subsidised rate but must sign the Tuition Grant Agreement, committing to work for a Singapore-registered entity for three years after graduation. International students (Singapore permanent residents included) must actively opt in for the Tuition Grant on the online application form; it is not automatic the way it is for Singapore citizens.
