| International tuition | €12,000 to €15,000 per year |
| Application fee | Not listed |
Tuition is charged to citizens of countries outside the EU and EEA, Switzerland excepted. For bachelor's programmes starting in the 2026-2027 academic year the fee is EUR 12,000 an academic year, both for the six programmes LUT names, Chemical and Process Engineering, Technology and Engineering Science, Computational Engineering, Digital Business, Sustainable International Business and Industrial Engineering and Management, and for its double degree programmes. An early bird discount of EUR 2,000 applies to the first year for those six programmes, so the first year costs EUR 10,000 and later years EUR 12,000. Master's programmes are EUR 15,000 an academic year, and a student who continues into a master's after completing a bachelor's at LUT pays EUR 9,000 for the first year of it. There are no scholarships for the first academic year; the early bird discount is the only reduction available then. Tuition has to be paid within 21 days of the admission decision. Several residence permit types issued by the Finnish Immigration Service remove the fee altogether, including a permanent residence permit, a long-term resident's EU residence permit, an EU blue card, a residence card as the family member of an EU citizen, and a continuous type A permit based on family ties to a Finnish citizen or permanent resident. The permit has to be held by the student, not by a relative.
