King Saud University admits non-residents through two tracks: external scholarships and fee-based bachelor's programmes in health sciences. External scholarship applicants apply through the Ministry of Education's Study in Saudi platform, which shows the admission timeline. They must be between 17 and 25 years old, hold a valid SAT score of at least 1010 and have obtained their high school diploma within the last five years, and the university's international students page adds a minimum high school grade of Very Good. Applicants to Medicine and Surgery need an SAT score of at least 1200 and a diploma from the last two years. Scholarship students receive a monthly stipend of SAR 1,000 in science fields and SAR 850 in humanities and social sciences, or SAR 900 at postgraduate level, an arrival allowance equal to two months' stipend, a graduation allowance equal to three months' stipend, university housing and comprehensive health care. Graduate programmes list their own costs and English minimums, for example IELTS Academic 6.5 for the MA in Translation, and graduate applications were not open when this page was checked. The Ministry of Education's application window for the second semester of 2026 runs from 16 September to 6 October 2026.
