Khulna University of Engineering and Technology publishes a separate rule for foreign nationals in its own guidelines document for international student admission. Students from SAARC countries pay tuition and other fees under the government of Bangladesh's own regulations, the same structure used for local students, rather than a separately stated figure. Students from other countries pay a one time admission fee of 150 US dollars plus a course registration fee of 300 US dollars for each term, with every other charge the same as for local students. The undergraduate quota for foreign nationals is capped at 100 seats a year across the university and 10 within any one department. A foreign national cannot apply directly to KUET; the application goes through the Bangladesh embassy or high commission in the applicant's own country.
