Khalifa University charges tuition per credit hour: AED 2,500 per credit hour for preparatory and undergraduate study, AED 5,000 per credit hour for master's study and AED 6,666 per credit hour for doctoral study. The tuition pages list no separate rate for UAE nationals. The university also publishes estimated costs of AED 81,250 a year for a bachelor's, AED 150,000 for a one-year master's and AED 95,000 to AED 100,000 a year for a PhD, although the undergraduate estimate does not match its own per-credit rate for 12 to 16 credits. Graduate applicants pay a AED 200 application fee including VAT, and newly admitted students pay a seat holding deposit, given as AED 5,000 on one page and AED 10,000 for master's and PhD on another. Scholarship tiers can cover all or part of tuition.
