Jagiellonian University Tuition Fees 2027

UJ is Poland's oldest university, based in Krakow, with English-taught programmes across the humanities, sciences, management and its Medical College. Non-EU applicants apply through the IRK system, sit an admission interview for most fields, and pay tuition set per programme, from around EUR 4,000 a year for humanities and social science to EUR 15,500 for the English-taught Medicine programme.

UJ does not publish one central tuition table; the Rector's annual ordinance sets a fee per programme, shown on each programme's own IRK page. The university's own admission-fees page states the overall range runs from PLN 16,000 a year (Environmental Protection and Management) to EUR 15,500 a year for the English-taught Medicine programme at the Medical College. Confirmed EUR figures from individual programme pages include Global and Development Studies at EUR 4,000 a year and the International Security and Development programme at EUR 4,500 a year (EUR 9,000 for the full two-year programme); Psychology, a Polish long-cycle programme open to non-EU applicants, is billed at PLN 27,600 a year. Tuition for full-time study is paid in two instalments a year, with the first due within 7 days of enrolment. The application fee is PLN 100 per programme.
