Requirements

Bachelor (integrated Medicine, Dental Medicine, Pharmacy, Nursing programmes)

• Completion of an accredited high school in the country of origin, with a diploma that both permits access to university study in that country and is recognised by the Romanian Ministry of Education (see the university's Annex 5 list of recognised diplomas).
• Passport valid for at least 6 months from the date of application (a national ID card copy is not accepted).
• For English or French-taught programmes: a CEFR B2 language certificate from an accredited institution, unless secondary school was completed fully in that language or B2 was achieved in the baccalaureate exam.
• For the Romanian-taught Medicine track (non-EU only): a diploma from a Romanian-language preparatory year, at least 4 consecutive years of schooling in Romanian, or a B2 Romanian-language certificate from a recognised issuer.
• A completed application file submitted only through the university's online admission platform within the announced session dates; files sent by post, courier or email are not accepted.
• Payment of the non-refundable application processing fee.

Master

The international admission pages found on the university's site cover only the integrated bachelor's-level ("licenta") programmes in Medicine, Dental Medicine, Pharmacy and Nursing. No separate international admission procedure, deadline or fee for a master's-level programme for non-EU applicants was found on the university's international admissions section, so this section is left blank rather than guessed.

Documents

For non-EU (third country) applicants, the university's published document list for the application file includes: a signed request form for evaluation (Annex 1); a signed declaration (Annex 2); a signed GDPR data-processing consent (Annex 3); a signed screening form (Annex 6); a Europass CV (or equivalent) in the language of the study programme; a motivation letter of about 1-2 pages; a certified copy and legalised translation of the baccalaureate diploma or equivalent (per Annex 5); the baccalaureate transcript, where applicable; transcripts for grades IX-XII/XIII; any additional study documents needed to prove access to university study in the country of origin; a certified copy and legalised translation of the birth certificate; a passport photocopy (pages 1-4) valid at least 6 months; a medical certificate covering general clinical, ophthalmology, ENT, neurology and psychiatric examinations, issued within the last 6 months; a psychological certificate (compulsory for Medicine and Dental Medicine applicants); proof of the required B2 language certification; the standard form for requesting the Letter of Acceptance to study; and proof of payment of the non-refundable application processing fee. Documents issued in a language other than Romanian, English or French must be translated into one of those languages, and study documents and birth certificates from non-EU countries generally require Hague Apostille legalisation or, for countries outside the Apostille Convention, authentication by that country's Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

How to apply

1. Create an account on the university's online admission platform.
2. Check the list of required documents in the admission methodology for the applicant's citizenship group (EU/EEA/Swiss or non-EU).
3. Fill in personal data on the platform and upload each required document to its corresponding field, selecting EU or non-EU status and the intended admission session.
4. Pay the non-refundable application processing fee online by card or by bank transfer, uploading proof of payment if paying by transfer.
5. Submit and register the completed file on the platform before the session deadline.
6. Check the email account (including spam/junk folders) regularly for validation, invalidation, or status updates from the International Students Department.
7. If accepted, confirm the place on the platform by paying 50% of the tuition fee (non-refundable); non-EU applicants must pay the full first-year tuition fee to obtain the Letter of Acceptance needed for their student visa.
8. Complete final enrolment during the last two weeks of September by submitting original documents in person, as instructed by the International Students Department at the start of September.

English test waiver

The university does not publish an IELTS, TOEFL, PTE or Duolingo minimum. It asks for a Language Proficiency Certificate of minimum B2 level (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages, CEFR) for English or French-taught programmes, issued by an accredited institution. The certificate requirement is waived if the applicant completed and graduated secondary school fully in English or French, or if the applicant obtained a minimum B2 grade in English or French as part of the baccalaureate examination (the baccalaureate document itself is then submitted instead of a separate certificate).
