The IT University of Copenhagen is a small, specialist public university focused on computer science, data science, games and digital design, with most of its intake at master's level. All MSc applicants, regardless of citizenship, apply by 1 March and pay EUR 8,250 a semester in tuition if not EU/EEA/Swiss or otherwise exempt.

Citizens of the EU, the EEA and Switzerland, and applicants with a qualifying Danish residence permit, pay no application fee or tuition at ITU. Other applicants pay a EUR 150 (about DKK 1,125) application fee, covering every MSc programme applied for in the same round, and tuition of EUR 8,250 a semester (about DKK 61,650) for both BSc and MSc programmes, paid twice a year in advance. A three year BSc therefore totals about EUR 49,500; a two year MSc totals about EUR 33,000.
