The Free University of Bozen-Bolzano (unibz) is a small public university in South Tyrol teaching in Italian, German and English, with most master's programmes taught entirely in English. Tuition at the Free University of Bozen-Bolzano for non-EU applicants living abroad is approximately EUR 1,200 a year, paid in two instalments. The university's own planning pages estimate a total minimum cost, tuition plus typical living expenses, of about EUR 36,000 for a full bachelor's degree and EUR 24,000 for a full master's degree, and advise budgeting at least EUR 800 a month for accommodation, food, study materials and other living costs in the Bozen-Bolzano area. The EUR 50 application fee is a separate, non-refundable administration charge.
