Comenius University Bratislava Tuition Fees 2027

Comenius University Bratislava, founded in 1919, is Slovakia's oldest university, with 23,214 students including 3,800 from 94 countries. It teaches General Medicine and Dentistry in English at the Faculty of Medicine in Bratislava, at EUR 13,000 and EUR 14,500 a year in 2026-27, and General Medicine at the Jessenius Faculty in Martin, at EUR 11,500. The Jessenius Faculty's first 2027-28 application deadline is 6 March 2027.

Comenius University's official fee schedule for 2026-27 (Rector's Directive 17/2021, Annex 8, as amended in July 2026) sets tuition for programmes taught in a language other than Slovak. At the Faculty of Medicine in Bratislava, General Medicine costs EUR 13,000 a year and Dentistry EUR 14,500, and the faculty guarantees the same fee each year for the standard length of study. At the Jessenius Faculty of Medicine in Martin, General Medicine costs EUR 11,500 a year. Other English programmes cost less: Pharmacy EUR 7,500; Law bachelor's EUR 2,000 for Law and International Law and EUR 3,999 for other programmes, and master's EUR 4,999; Mathematics, Physics and Informatics EUR 2,000 for bachelor's and EUR 1,800 for master's; Management EUR 1,990 bachelor's and EUR 2,490 master's; Social and Economic Sciences EUR 3,300 bachelor's and EUR 3,000 master's. The admission fee is EUR 99 at the Faculty of Medicine in Bratislava, EUR 70 at the Jessenius Faculty and EUR 80 at the Faculty of Management.
