Admission at a glance

Chulalongkorn University admits international students programme by programme, and each faculty runs its own international programmes. For bachelor's study the university describes two admission rounds a year, an early admission round and a main admission round, with online applications, interviews and announcements; its admissions page is headed for 2027 but still shows the dates of the 2025 cycle, when early applications ran from 25 November to 25 December 2024 and main applications from 26 February to 26 March 2025, so 2027 dates should be confirmed with each programme. For graduate study the application period is decided by each faculty but normally opens from February to May for the fall semester, with an August intake, and from September to October for the spring semester, with a January intake. Tuition for international degree students is charged per semester, and many programmes add their own programme fees. Chulalongkorn does not publish a central English requirement or application fee for its international bachelor's programmes on its main admissions pages, and refers applicants to each programme's website. After admission, international students apply for a Non-Immigrant ED Plus visa.
