Charles Darwin University admits international undergraduate applicants who have completed a recognised secondary education qualification and who meet the university's general English language requirement of IELTS Academic 6.0 overall with no sub-score below 6.0, or an equivalent score in another accepted test such as PTE Academic or TOEFL iBT; course pages set out any higher requirement for individual degrees. There is no application fee when applying online. Tuition is charged as an annual course fee rather than a flat university-wide rate; the university's Higher Education International 2026 Tuition Fee schedule lists undergraduate bachelor's, associate degree and diploma fees from AUD 29,800 to AUD 40,808 a year depending on the course, with most standard bachelor's degrees clustered between roughly AUD 31,000 and AUD 36,500. Applicants who accept an offer arrange Overseas Student Health Cover and a student visa before enrolling.
