ADA University Admission Requirements 2027

ADA University in Baku was established on 13 January 2014, succeeding the Azerbaijan Diplomatic Academy founded in 2006, and teaches most programmes in English. Its latest published fee table, for 2025, charges non-citizen students AZN 8,500 a year for undergraduate study and AZN 10,500 for most master's programmes, including the student fee. International applicants pay a AZN 100 application fee and are considered for the Topchubashov International Fellowship, a full tuition waiver.

English test waiver

Graduate programmes not taught in Azerbaijani require IELTS Academic 6.5, TOEFL iBT 83 (or 4.5 on the format used from 21 January 2026), PTE Academic 58 or Duolingo 120; home-taken PTE and TOEFL tests are not accepted. Applicants whose native language is English, who studied at degree level in English in an English-speaking country, or who hold an ADA degree can ask for a waiver. For undergraduates, IELTS Academic 6.0, TOEFL iBT 75, PTE 50 or Duolingo 105 exempts students from the English for Academic and Professional Purposes programme rather than acting as an entry cut-off.
