Requirements
Bachelor
- Completion of senior secondary studies, or one year of an Australian bachelor degree or another qualification ANU accepts as comparable, converted to an ANU Selection Rank out of 99.95
- English language proficiency, generally IELTS 6.5 overall with no band below 6.0, or an accepted equivalent (PTE Academic or TOEFL iBT)
- Separate satisfaction of the Genuine Student requirement before enrolment is confirmed
Documents
Secondary (or relevant tertiary) academic transcripts, English language test results where required, and any financial or personal-statement material requested to satisfy the Genuine Student requirement.
How to apply
- Check entry requirements and the ANU Selection Rank needed for up to three preferred programs.
- Arrange support from an ANU-recognised education agent if used.
- Gather supporting documentation, including English test evidence.
- Submit the online application and pay the AUD 150 application fee.
- Receive an outcome, typically within about ten business days.
- Satisfy the Genuine Student requirement.
- Arrange Overseas Student Health Cover and apply for the student visa.
- Accept the offer by the acceptance deadline (15 January for Semester 1, overseas applicants; 30 June for Semester 2, overseas applicants) and arrange accommodation.
