Requirements

Bachelor

• Completion of senior secondary studies, or one year of an Australian bachelor degree or another qualification ANU accepts as comparable, converted to an ANU Selection Rank out of 99.95
• English language proficiency, generally IELTS 6.5 overall with no band below 6.0, or an accepted equivalent (PTE Academic or TOEFL iBT)
• Separate satisfaction of the Genuine Student requirement before enrolment is confirmed

Documents

Secondary (or relevant tertiary) academic transcripts, English language test results where required, and any financial or personal-statement material requested to satisfy the Genuine Student requirement.

How to apply

1. Check entry requirements and the ANU Selection Rank needed for up to three preferred programs.
2. Arrange support from an ANU-recognised education agent if used.
3. Gather supporting documentation, including English test evidence.
4. Submit the online application and pay the AUD 150 application fee.
5. Receive an outcome, typically within about ten business days.
6. Satisfy the Genuine Student requirement.
7. Arrange Overseas Student Health Cover and apply for the student visa.
8. Accept the offer by the acceptance deadline (15 January for Semester 1, overseas applicants; 30 June for Semester 2, overseas applicants) and arrange accommodation.
