UIU Undergraduate Admission Requirement
- Candidates have to obtain at least a GPA of 2.50 in the SSC/HSC or equivalent exam. If one gets a GPA of 2.00 in any one of the exams, candidates have to get a GPA of 6.00.
- For the “O” Level, students need to complete 5 subjects with an average of 2.50, and for the “A” Level students 2 subjects with a GPA of 2.00.
- To admit to BSEEE/CSE/Civil programs, students must have had Physics and Mathematics in HSC/A-Level or equivalent level.
- If anyone is the son/daughter of a freedom fighter, he can admit with a minimum GPA of 5.00 totally at SSC & HSC. In this case, they have to show strong proof against it.
- Candidates with a GPA of 5.00/Credit-transferred students won’t sit for the admission test. You may visit admission.uiu.ac.bd to get more information.

Admission Related Informaiton
- For admission, the fee is only 15000/-
- Caution Money for ID Card Tk. 2000/-
- Candidates must provide photocopies with attestation of all academic certificates, marks sheets/transcripts, testimonials, 2 copies of recent passport-size, and one stamp-size photograph. Diploma students have to submit mark sheets/ transcripts of all semesters.

Tuition Fees & Payment Policies
- For English Medium students’ a tuition fee waiver of up to 100%
- For the HSC GPA 5.00 students tuition fee waiver of up to 50%
- For Physically challenged students, a tuition fee waiver of up to 50%
- For the position holders in national and international Olympics, a tuition fee waiver of up to 100%
