Sheikh Hasina University is a GST (General Science & Technology) affiliated university, so it has to follow GST rules. There are 22 GST universities, and there will be an integrated admission test for the 22 universities in 2023.

There are two integrated admission tests of 22 universities belonging to the GST group. One is the Primary Application, and another is the Final Application.

About the Sheikh Hasina University

Sheikh Hasina University is a public university in Bangladesh’s government. On January 30, 2017, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina passed the policy of setting up a university in Netrakona district in a regular cabinet, chaired by the Prime Minister.

Initially, it was meant to be set up as a science and technology university, but later it was declared a comprehensive university. Alongside science, humanities, and trade issues will also be taught here.

Currently, there are 38 public universities in Bangladesh. Jamalpur is also approved to establish another new public university in one day. The number of new universities will be 40.

We already know that Sheikh Hasina University has only two faculty. It is a new university, so I think its faculty will increase ASAP. Now I will write all of the conditions for admission to Sheikh Hasina University one by one.

Requirements for Arts Faculty:

• The candidate will be passed the secondary or equivalent from 2019-20
• The candidate will be passed the HSC or equivalent has passed 2022-23
• Can Apply Any section of any of the Education Board of Bangladesh,
• The applicant must have a minimum 3.00 GPA, including 4th subject, in each secondary and higher secondary examination.

Requirements for Social Science Faculty:

• The candidate will be passed the secondary or equivalent from 2019-20
• The candidate will be passed the HSC or equivalent has passed 2022-23
• Can Apply any section of any of the Education Board of Bangladesh,

Sheikh Hasina University Total Seat:

Sheikh Hasina University is a new university. It has three subjects/departments under two faculty members: 1. arts and 2. social science. Two subjects under the arts faculty are Bangla and English. And one subject under the social science faculty this subject is economics.

So, Sheikh Hasina university has few seats. Its have only 90 seats. Thirty seats for the Bangla department, 30 seats for English Department, and 30 seats for the economics department.

How to apply for Sheikh Hasina University any Faculty 2022-23

All Sheikh Hasina University Admission faculty will have to apply online for honours in the first year season 2022-23. Here is the detailed process of how to apply for admission. For your convenience, I have gathered here all the information serially. 

• Visit the gstadmissiion.ac.bd. Then start your final Application by clicking on the “Login” button.
• A page will then appear and be complete by providing the given application ID and password.
• Then you will get a page with much information, varify then carefully and click on the “Apply” button if everything seems right; otherwise, “Back.” If you don’t proceed with the Application, click on “Exit.”
• After clicking on the “Apply” button, you will get an OTP code of 4 digits. Provide OTP and click on “Varify Mobile No.”
• A new page will then appear and upload an image following the information provided. Then click on “Next.”
• Then you have to provide some information.
• Then a new page appears where you will get detailed information about yourself, including the image. Look to the information and click on the “Submit Application” button if everything seems right; otherwise, “Back.” If you don’t proceed with the Application, click on “Exit.”
• Then you have to pay fees by clicking on “Make Payment” unless the Application will be cancelled.
• Download the slip by clicking on the “Download Acknowledgement slip.”
