Bangamata Sheikh Fojilatunnesa Mujib Science & Technology University briefly BSFMSTU is a government-financed public Science & Technology University established on 28 November 2017 vide Act no 24 of 2017.
It is the 44th public category university and 10th Science & Technology University in Bangladesh also the first science and technology university in Mymensingh division.
The academic session of 1st batch began in March 2019. Right now, many students are taking their quality education from the university.

Bangamata Sheikh Fojilatunnesa Mujib Science & Technology University Details
State Minister for Textiles and Jute Mirza Azam established Sheikh Fazilatunnesa Mujib Fisheries College affiliated to Bangladesh Agricultural University in 2000 in his constituency of Malanch village in Melandah Upazila of Jamalpur.
On May 25, 2016, the government agreed in principle to transform it into a specialized public university. Subsequently, on 20 November 2016, a bill titled ‘Bangamata Sheikh Fazilatunnesa Mujib University of Science and Technology’ was passed in Parliament.

As an updated and modern university, Bangamata Sheikh Fojilatunnesa Mujib Science & Technology University is committed to providing all the modern services and facilities to its students and staff. But as it is a new university, most of the university’s parts are under construction.

Bangamata Sheikh Fojilatunnesa Mujib Science & Technology University also offers residential halls for the students. The constructions of the halls are not completed yet but are under processing. Students from far from the country will be able to stay here and pursue their studies properly.
