UVic's guide for international students, covering the 2027-2028 intake, estimates first-year tuition, calculated on eight months of study and five courses a term except in Engineering, at about CAD 37,575 a year for all programs other than Engineering and Computer Science, CAD 50,058 for Engineering and CAD 43,292 for Computer Science, using rates effective May 2026 to January 2027. Mandatory student fees such as health and dental cover, a bus pass and athletics add about CAD 1,183, and a single-occupancy residence room with a meal plan adds roughly CAD 17,006, bringing UVic's own estimated first-year total for tuition, fees and residence to about CAD 55,764 to 68,247.
