University of Sharjah Admission 2027 for International Students

Admission at a glance

The University of Sharjah admits undergraduates for the fall semester, with a smaller spring intake in December for selected programmes; admission for Fall 2026/2027 has closed, and Spring and Fall 2027 dates have not been published. Graduate applications for PhD, master's and higher diploma programmes starting in Fall 2026 were extended to 1 July 2026. The application fee is AED 360 for undergraduate and AED 500 for master's programmes, and admitted undergraduates reserve a seat by paying AED 12,000. English-taught undergraduate programmes require IELTS Academic 5.5 or TOEFL iBT 61, and graduate programmes IELTS 6 or TOEFL ITP 550. Tuition for academic year 2026/2027 is charged per credit hour: AED 1,971 for Sharia and Islamic Studies, AED 2,656 for business administration, computing and civil, electrical and industrial engineering, AED 2,910 for architectural and mechanical engineering and AED 5,435 for Medicine; most master's programmes cost AED 3,200 per credit hour and the MBA AED 4,200. Discounts open to all students include 50% off first-semester tuition for high school averages of 90% or more, except in Medicine and Dentistry, and a 10% sibling discount.
