Admission at a glance

United Arab Emirates University admits international students, defined as all non-Emirati students, during announced application periods. For undergraduates it publishes months rather than dates for the scholarship application windows: May to July for the first semester and September to November for the second. Graduate admission follows a published cycle; for 2026 master's, PharmD and DBA applications for Fall 2026 ran from 1 February to 15 May 2026, PhD applications to 30 April 2026, and Spring 2026 master's applications from 15 September to 31 October 2025. Dates for Spring 2027 and Fall 2027 had not been published when this page was checked. Undergraduate applicants need at least 90% in English on the MOE Grade 12 certificate or IELTS 5.5, TOEFL iBT 70 or TOEFL ITP 525 taken in the UAE. Tuition for international undergraduates is AED 2,661 per credit hour from 2026-27. The university's scholarships for international students, from the 2025-26 academic year, include the Chancellor's Scholarship for Elite Students (100% of tuition for 98% and IELTS 7.5), a 75% Elite Students scholarship (95% and IELTS 6.5) and Talented Students scholarships at 100% and 50%, all covering tuition only.
