University of Rijeka Tuition Fees 2027 for International Students

The Faculty of Medicine's University Integrated Undergraduate and Graduate Study Programme of Medicine in English charges tuition of EUR 12,000.00 per academic year, paid in full at enrolment; the fee is charged for every academic year throughout the six-year study (Account Information and Admission Requirements pages, medical-studies-in-english.com). The application fee for the entrance exam is EUR 200.00, payable directly to the Faculty's account and non-refundable if an application is withdrawn, incomplete or declined (Application procedure page). An optional one-week intensive preparatory course in Biology, Chemistry and Physics before the entrance exam costs EUR 800.00 (Account Information and Call for applications pages). The University of Rijeka's enrolment fee for the 2026/2027 academic year is stated as approximately EUR 55.50 (Call for applications page). Separately, the Faculty of Economics and Business (EFRI), another constituent faculty of the University of Rijeka, charges EUR 5,000.00 per year for its own English-taught International Business undergraduate and graduate programmes for students who are citizens of non-EU countries, and EUR 2,000.00 per year for Croatian and other EU citizens, plus a EUR 58.20 enrolment fee for all students (EFRI, University Undergraduate Programme in English page, efri.uniri.hr, updated 22.06.2026). This EFRI figure is not included in the tuition_intl_min/tuition_intl_max fields above, which reflect the Faculty of Medicine programme only.
