Requirements
Bachelor (honours), session 2025-2026
Candidates who passed HSC or an equivalent examination in 2024 or 2025 could apply. Humanities and Commerce group candidates needed at least GPA 3.00 in each of SSC and HSC and a combined GPA of 7.00; Science group candidates needed at least GPA 3.50 in each and a combined GPA of 8.00. GCE O and A Level candidates applied through an equivalence process.
The admission test is 100 marks: 80 multiple choice questions in one hour, with 0.25 marks deducted for each wrong answer and a pass mark of 40 that no quota relaxes. Tests were held in Rajshahi and other divisional centres.
The application fee was BDT 1,200 for the A and C units and BDT 1,000 for the B unit, plus a 10 percent online service charge. Applications ran from 20 November to 7 December 2025, and the tests were held on 16 January (C unit), 17 January (A unit) and 24 January 2026 (B unit). The 2026-2027 circular had not been published when this was checked.

How to apply
- Wait for Rajshahi University's own admission circular, published on admission.ru.ac.bd after that year's HSC results.
- Submit a preliminary application, then a final application in the phase the circular assigns, paying the fee it names.
- Sit the written admission test for the chosen unit.
- Check the university's own merit list and complete enrolment if offered a seat.
English test waiver
Rajshahi University does not publish an IELTS or TOEFL threshold for its bachelor's admission test. Entry is decided by HSC results and the university's own written test; no separate English test score was found on an accessible page for this research pass.
