Requirements
Bachelor
A secondary school diploma from at least twelve years of education, recognised as giving access to university study. Programmes taught in English ask for a B2-level certificate.
Master
A three-year, or longer, bachelor's degree in a relevant field. Programmes taught in English ask for a B2-level certificate unless the applicant can show sufficient English credits from a previous degree.
Documents
Passport, secondary school diploma or bachelor's degree certificate issued in English, Spanish, French or officially translated into Italian, transcript of records, an English language certificate where required, a passport photo, and the Universitaly pre-enrolment summary for applicants who need a study visa.
How to apply
- Choose a programme and apply online in the relevant application window.
- Pay the EUR 35 application fee and upload the required documents.
- If admitted and a visa is needed, complete Universitaly pre-enrolment and submit visa documents by the university's published deadline.
- Apply for the study visa at the competent Italian consulate and enrol online once granted.
- Travel to Italy and register for the residence permit within eight days of arrival.
English test waiver
A B2-level certificate is required for programmes taught in English: IELTS 5.5 to 6.5 or TOEFL iBT 87 to 109 is treated as equivalent to B2, and the exact minimum is set by the individual programme. Applicants can also show at least 12 English-language credits from their first-cycle degree, or a B2 certificate from a university language centre, in place of IELTS or TOEFL.
