The University of Namibia enrols about 26,302 students as of the 2025 reporting cycle, from over 40 countries. In 2026, non-SADC students pay double the Namibian rate for class fees and a registration total of NAD 20,775, including a NAD 14,300 tuition fee deposit and a NAD 3,500 international student levy. Undergraduate applications for the 2027 intake close on 30 September 2026.

UNAM requires English at a minimum of grade C at NSSCO level for degree programmes and grade D for diplomas. Other recognised school-leaving qualifications are evaluated on their own merit against UNAM's evaluation scale. No IELTS or TOEFL minimum is published.
