University of Klagenfurt Application Deadlines 2027

University of Klagenfurt (Alpen-Adria-Universitat Klagenfurt, AAU), founded in 1970, offers an unusually large range of English-taught bachelor's and master's programmes for an Austrian public university, alongside German-taught programmes, on the shore of the Worthersee in Carinthia.

The 2027 bachelor's admission period is not yet published. In the last two published cycles the period ran from 7 July to 5 September 2025 for the winter semester 2025/26 and from 8 January to 5 February 2026 for the summer semester 2026. Bachelor's teaching at Klagenfurt is mostly in German, so most applicants from Bangladesh apply to a master's programme, whose non-EU window is recorded separately.

The university publishes this as a standing submission period for applicants who are not EU or EEA citizens: 1 April to 30 June for the winter semester and 1 November to 30 November for the summer semester. EU and EEA citizens may apply at any time. This replaces the general admission calendar date recorded earlier, which is the enrolment window and not the non-EU application window.
