University of Jyväskylä Scholarships 2027

The University of Jyväskylä in central Finland charges non-EU/EEA students tuition of EUR 10,000 to EUR 16,000 a year for its English-taught bachelor's and master's programmes. Non-EU/EEA applicants pay a EUR 100 application fee, and bachelor's applicants need IELTS 6.0, TOEFL iBT 78 or PTE Academic 54. Admission rounds run in January through Studyinfo, and details of the 2027 round are due by the end of September 2026.

There is no university-level scholarship for the first year of studies. In the 2026 admission round an early bird discount of EUR 1,500 was offered to fee-paying students who accepted their study place within 14 days. From the second year, fee-paying students can apply for the JYU Scholarship, which covers part of the tuition fee.
