The University of Ghana was founded in 1948 as the University College of the Gold Coast. For 2025/2026, first-year international undergraduates pay USD 4,354 (African nationals) to USD 5,158 (non-African nationals) for a Bachelor of Arts, rising to USD 7,721 and USD 13,972 at the Medical School.
