Universitat de Barcelona Tuition Fees 2027

UB is Catalonia's largest public university, with most teaching in Catalan or Spanish and a growing set of English-taught master's programmes. Non-EU applicants use UNEDasiss and homologacion for bachelor access, and pay a non-EU credit price the university's Social Council sets separately from the resident and EU rate fixed each year by Catalan government decree.

UB charges tuition per ECTS credit. For Catalan public universities generally, the resident/EU bachelor credit price set by the Generalitat de Catalunya's annual decree was EUR 17.69 for 2025-26 and 2026-27, since the decree kept the prior year's prices unchanged; UB's Social Council separately fixes a higher, non-EU non-resident credit price rather than following this base rate. For master's degrees, UB's published 2025-26 figures show a resident/EU-linked price of about EUR 19.37 a credit (EUR 1,162.20 for a 60-credit programme), against a non-EU non-resident price of about EUR 82 a credit (EUR 4,920 for 60 credits) for most master's degrees, rising to about EUR 110 a credit (EUR 6,600 for 60 credits) for some programmes, such as those run through the UB Business School. A distinct, confirmed non-EU bachelor credit price was not found on the pages fetched for this record; a bachelor applicant should check the specific faculty's own fees page.
