The American University of Iraq, Sulaimani Scholarships 2027
The American University of Iraq, Sulaimani opened in 2007 in the Kurdistan Region and teaches in English. Baseline undergraduate tuition is IQD 10,950,000 a year, and international students pay between IQD 4,500,000 and IQD 9,500,000 depending on their secondary school score through a built-in scholarship, with Dentistry and Pharmacy at the full rate. Undergraduate applications for Spring 2027 close on 30 January 2027.
Tuition at AUIS already includes a built-in merit scholarship by secondary school score, with a separate scale for international students. The AUIS Alumni Scholarship covers 50% of first-year tuition, worth IQD 1,750,000, for students with a score of 90% or more and is open to students from all backgrounds. The Presidential Scholarship covers half of tuition for top-scoring applicants.
