Admission at a glance

AUIS admits undergraduates for the Fall and Spring semesters. For Spring 2027, undergraduate applications close on 30 January 2027 and the semester starts on 7 February 2027, and applications to the Academic Preparatory Program close on 5 February 2027. The MBA uses rolling admission until mid-January and charges an application fee of IQD 150,000. Applicants who are not exempt submit an English result: TOEFL iBT 72, IELTS 6 or Duolingo 120 gives full undergraduate entry, and lower scores lead to concurrent English classes or the preparatory programme. International school applicants apply online, provide an English result unless exempted, and must obtain an equalisation document for their certificate from the education ministry, finishing it within two weeks of signing the enrolment contract. Baseline undergraduate tuition is IQD 10,950,000 a year, and a built-in scholarship reduces it for international students to IQD 4,500,000 to IQD 9,500,000 a year according to their secondary school score. The AUIS Alumni Scholarship, open to students from all backgrounds with a score of 90% or more, covers 50% of first-year tuition, worth IQD 1,750,000.
