Sorbonne University Tuition Fees 2027 for International Students

Sorbonne University is a large public university in Paris formed in 2018 from the merger of Paris-Sorbonne and Pierre-and-Marie-Curie universities, covering arts, humanities, science and medicine. It waives the government's differentiated non-EU tuition rate for most international students, so most bachelor's and master's places cost the same EUR 178 to 255 a year as EU students pay.

Standard tuition for 2026-2027 is EUR 178 a year for a Licence and EUR 255 for a Master. Non-EU students are liable in principle for the government's differentiated rate of EUR 2,902 (Licence) or EUR 3,950 (Master), but Sorbonne University's Governing Board has approved an exemption policy for 2026-2027: students receiving a state-funded grant, or admitted under an agreement with a foreign partner institution, are automatically exempt and pay the standard rate; other non-EU students who are not automatically exempt may apply for a discretionary exemption. No separate application fee is stated on the university's admissions pages.
