Requirements

Bachelor's degree

A completed high school diploma with its final grade point average; a Higher Secondary Certificate average of at least 80 percent is asked of applicants presenting that qualification. SAT is accepted but not compulsory. TR-YOS is accepted from a minimum of 350 out of 500. International Baccalaureate applicants need a minimum diploma score of 28 out of 45. A Level applicants need grades from AAA to AAB. SAT Super scores are not accepted.

Documents

Completed online application. High school transcript and diploma, or predicted results where the diploma is not yet issued. SAT, TR-YOS, IB or A Level result where the applicant is presenting one of those routes. Application fee payment of USD 30, paid online by credit card.

How to apply

  1. Decide which route to apply on: final high school GPA alone, SAT, TR-YOS (minimum 350 out of 500), IB (minimum 28 out of 45) or A Level (AAA to AAB).
  2. Complete the online application and pay the USD 30 application fee by credit card.
  3. Wait for a decision; Sabancı evaluates completed applications on a rolling basis, once or twice a month, inside the intake's open application window.
  4. If admitted, review the automatic merit scholarship offer (25 to 75 percent of tuition) issued as part of the same decision.
  5. Pay the first instalment of tuition and register; students without an accepted language proficiency score complete the Foundation Development Year first.
  6. After registering, apply for a residence permit through e-ikamet.

English test waiver

Sabancı automatically considers every international applicant for a merit scholarship band (25, 40, 50, 60 or 75 percent of tuition) as part of the same evaluation. A specific institutional TOEFL or IELTS minimum was not stated on the pages read for this record; applicants without a prior language proficiency score accepted by the university complete Sabancı's Foundation Development Year before starting subject courses.
