Requirements
Bachelor
- A qualification comparable to the Australian Year 12 standard
- English language proficiency at IELTS Academic 6.5 overall, no sub-score below 6.0, or an accepted equivalent (TOEFL iBT 79, PTE Academic 58); higher for some health, education and professional courses
- QTAC-specific requirements for applicants using that pathway instead of applying directly to QUT
Documents
Academic transcripts, English language test results (or evidence of completing QUT's English for Academic Purposes program), and identity documents.
How to apply
- Check the course's academic and English language entry requirements.
- Prepare transcripts and test evidence, or enrol in QUT's English for Academic Purposes program if needed.
- Apply through the QUT Application Portal (direct international applications are accepted all year) and pay the AUD 100 application fee.
- Receive and accept the offer.
- Arrange Overseas Student Health Cover and apply for the student visa.
English test waiver
Health, education and other professional-accreditation courses commonly require a higher score than the general undergraduate minimum; the requirement is set on each course's own page. Applicants who fall short can complete QUT's English for Academic Purposes program instead of retaking a test.
