Polytechnic University of Turin Admission Requirements 2027

Politecnico di Torino is a public technical university in Turin specialising in engineering, architecture and design. Non-EU applicants with a foreign qualification apply through the university's own online portal and, for master's programmes, submit an academic assessment before enrolling; tuition is calculated as a share of the maximum fee based on the GDP per capita of the applicant's home country, with a published floor of EUR 600 a year.

Requirements

Bachelor

A secondary school qualification recognised in Italy as giving access to university study, assessed against the specific bachelor's programme chosen.

Master

A bachelor's degree (or equivalent first-cycle qualification) in a field the admission committee judges relevant to the chosen master's programme. English-taught programmes require a B2-level English certificate; Italian-taught and bilingual programmes also require a B2 Italian certificate.

Documents

Passport or equivalent travel document, academic transcripts and degree certificate for the qualification held, a Declaration of Value or an equivalent statement of comparability for the foreign qualification, a passport photo, and an English (and, where relevant, Italian) language certificate. Applicants without a language certificate can be assessed by the university's own language centre.

The Recruitment and Admissions Unit checks the documents, then an academic committee assesses eligibility.
