Nazarbayev University's tuition for the 2026-27 academic year is the same for local and international students: USD 12,000 for the Foundation Year Program, USD 15,000 a year for undergraduate programmes and USD 16,000 a year for master's programmes. Residents of Kazakhstan pay in tenge at the university's internal exchange rate. Graduate School of Business programmes are priced separately. The application fee is 10,000 tenge for foundation and undergraduate applicants and 15,000 tenge for master's applicants, tripled when paid in the last two weeks before the deadline, and the NUET entrance test costs 5,000 tenge. Merit-based Abay Kunanbayev scholarships for top international candidates cover tuition.
