The fee structures published for 2025/2026 give non-national master's students annual fees payable to the university of USD 6,000 (registration, tuition, examination and library services) for all master's programmes at the Main Campus and at the Dar es Salaam Campus, except the MSc in Information Technology and Systems, the MSc in Applied Statistics and the MSc in Health Monitoring and Evaluation, which are USD 9,480 a year. The USD 6,000 fee is payable in two instalments of USD 3,000, one at the start of each semester. The fee structures shown on the university's tuition fees page are for the 2025/2026 year, so applicants should confirm the 2026/2027 figures with the Directorate of Research, Publications and Postgraduate Studies.
Other charges for non-national students at the Main Campus include university accommodation at USD 5 per room per day (USD 1,190 in the published annual table), a medical fee of USD 150, a TCU quality assurance fee of USD 15, a student union fee of USD 10 and a student identity card at USD 10. Non-national PhD students pay USD 6,000 a year in fees to the university. The application fee is USD 30 for international applicants.
