BINUS University in Jakarta began with computer courses on 21 October 1974 and was officially established as a university on 8 August 1996. International undergraduates at BINUS International pay a total of USD 44,600 for a four-year programme without an Indonesian stay permit, or USD 40,600 with one, for degrees such as Computer Science and International Business. Fee-paying international applicants need IELTS 5.0.

English test waiver

Fee-paying international undergraduate applicants to BINUS need a minimum IELTS score of 5.0, and students at 5.0 start with a pre-sessional English course; scholarship applicants need IELTS 6.5. Applicants who have taken an IELTS or TOEFL exam are not required to take BINUS University's International English Proficiency Test.
