Asian Institute of Technology Scholarships 2027

The Asian Institute of Technology, founded in 1959 near Bangkok, is an English-speaking postgraduate institution with more than 1,900 students from over 50 countries. In its engineering, science and policy schools, tuition is THB 16,000 per credit plus a THB 20,000 registration fee each semester, a total of about THB 855,600 for a 22-month master's degree. For the August intake, overseas applicants needing a student visa apply by 30 June.

AIT Scholarships, open to any nationality for master's and doctoral study, cover all or part of tuition fees only; for the August 2026 intake the deadline was 15 July 2026. GWSC scholarships for master's study give priority to applicants from Bangladesh, India, Indonesia and Nepal and cover the equivalent of 12 credits of tuition and two semesters' registration fees, with applications for the August intake due by 30 April.
