Scholarships to Study in Thailand (2027)

Thailand's leading universities run international programmes taught in English, with Mahidol charging international master's students THB 35,000 to THB 150,000 a semester from 2026 and Chulalongkorn THB 76,000 to THB 106,000 a semester for international bachelor's programmes. Degree students travel on a Non-Immigrant ED Plus visa, applied for through the Thai e-Visa system, and may stay a year after graduating to look for work. Thailand's TICA scholarships fully fund selected master's students from countries including Bangladesh.

Thailand International Cooperation Agency (TICA) runs the Thailand International Postgraduate Programme (TIPP) for candidates from developing countries, nominated by their national focal point and aged no more than 45, with up to three candidates per programme per country. Full-support countries, which include Bangladesh for the 2026 programme year, receive tuition, return airfare, the visa fee, a THB 7,000 monthly living allowance, a THB 7,000 or THB 9,000 monthly accommodation allowance, a THB 6,000 settlement allowance and a THB 10,000 yearly book allowance. For TIPP 2026 papers were due at Thai embassies by 23 February 2026, and part-time work is not allowed. Universities add their own awards: Mahidol's MUIC offers Global Talents scholarships of THB 100,000 to Asian nationals, and Mahidol's Faculty of Graduate Studies ran postgraduate scholarships for international students in 2026.
