Ankara University Tuition Fees 2027 for International Students

Ankara University is a public university in the Turkish capital, founded in 1946 as the first university established after the Republic, admitting international undergraduates through its own quota assessed mainly on the TR-YOS exam rather than the domestic placement test. The 2026-2027 international application round ran from 22 May to 26 June 2026 and charged no application fee.

Ankara University publishes one tuition figure per programme in US dollars, and the 2026-2027 table lists 111 bachelor's programmes. On-campus tuition starts at USD 2,000 a year, which covers most of the Faculty of Languages, History and Geography and the Faculty of Sciences; the six distance-education bachelor's degrees are cheaper at USD 1,800. Teacher training programmes are USD 2,700. Teaching a programme in English raises its price by half: Geography is USD 2,000 in Turkish and USD 3,000 in English, and the same gap runs through the professional faculties, where Pharmacy is USD 6,300 against USD 9,450 in English and Dentistry USD 6,750 against USD 10,150. The most expensive programme is Medicine in English at USD 14,850 a year, with the Turkish-taught Medicine degree at USD 9,900. Fees are annual and cover the whole academic year. No application fee was charged for the 2026-2027 admission round.
