Al Akhawayn University in Ifrane admits international students to its English-taught undergraduate and graduate programmes for the Fall and Spring semesters. Its admission pages ask applicants to submit well before the deadline but do not publish application dates for Spring 2027 or Fall 2027. The university's academic calendar shows classes beginning on 6 September for the 2027-2028 year, after an orientation programme for new and international students. Applicants living outside Morocco pay an application fee of MAD 800, while international candidates who have lived and paid taxes in Morocco for five years, or have a Moroccan parent, pay MAD 500. All non-native speakers must present a TOEFL score: iBT 71 with 19 in writing for undergraduates and iBT 79 with 20 in writing for graduate study, or an IELTS result, and applicants with lower scores may enter the Language Center first. Accepted international students confirm their place by paying MAD 10,000, of which MAD 5,000 is a non-refundable deposit. Undergraduate scholarships are offered to Moroccan students only.
