Rajshahi Medical University (RMU) Details

Rajshahi Medical University briefly RMU is a newly established public medical university in Bangladesh located in Rajshahi. It is the 39th among all the public universities and 3rd of all the medical universities in Bangladesh.

Although it is a new university, it is moving forward with the dream of developing Rajshahi Medical University into a well-developed and world-renowned medical university with a high level of research.

Information About Rajshahi Medical University

Rajshahi Medical University was officially initiated in 2017 with a view to rapid implementation of Education & Medical services correctly in the Rajshahi, Rangpur, and Khulna divisions of Bangladesh as well as to affiliate all the medical colleges, dental colleges, and such types of colleges so that they can monitor and control these institutions properly to get an expected outcome.

RMU Location

The university’s location is not yet been fixed as the land has not been fixed, but temporarily the activists of the university have been conducted at the Rajshahi Medical College. 150 core taka has been granted for the university to be established. The acquisition of 50 acres of land in the Naodapara area Laxmipur, Ghoramara, of the Rajshahi metropolis is in progress.
