Foreign students in Uzbekistan receive a student entry visa, issued for up to one year at the request of their educational institution, on the basis of an invitation submitted to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and considered within four working days. A single-entry visa for up to one year costs USD 160. At Westminster International University in Tashkent, international undergraduates pay UZS 54,600,000 (about USD 4,484) a year from 2026/27.
WIUT's full scholarship, a 100% fee waiver for its foundation programme, is limited to citizens of Uzbekistan. Self-financed students of any nationality who reach WIUT's Dean's List receive a 15% tuition discount.
