Scholarships to Study in Serbia (2027) for International Students

Foreign students in Serbia enter on a long-term visa D, which costs EUR 50, and then obtain temporary residence on the basis of studies, with an approval fee of RSD 23,450. Students with residence based on studies may work up to 16 hours a week. At the University of Belgrade, foreign citizens paid EUR 8,000 a year for Medicine in English in 2025/26, and master's applications for 2026/27 close on 5 October 2026.

The Serbian Government's World in Serbia programme awards scholarships to foreign students, and the University of Belgrade enrols its holders under a separate Ministry of Education instruction; the university's pages do not publish the amounts.
