Cost of Studying in Philippines (2027) for International Students

At the University of the Philippines Diliman in Quezon City, foreign undergraduates are charged PHP 1,500 per unit plus an educational development fee of USD 300 a semester. Foreign students aged 18 and over taking degree courses need a 9(f) student visa, for which the school must be accredited by the Bureau of Immigration.

Tuition. UP Diliman, 2024-25 fee schedule: undergraduate tuition PHP 1,500 per unit, plus an educational development fee of USD 300 a semester for non-resident foreign undergraduates and USD 500 for graduate students.

Visa fees. The Bureau of Immigration lists PHP 9,720 plus USD 50 for converting to a student visa and PHP 4,020 plus USD 50 for an extension, in a fee table dated March 2014.
