Scholarships to Study in Bangladesh (2027)

Bangladesh runs a mixed system of public universities that admit through their own written tests or a shared cluster test, and private universities that admit by GPA and run three semester intakes a year. Public tuition is nominal and set by the government; private universities bill by the credit hour. A foreign student needs an admission offer and a Student visa from a Bangladeshi diplomatic mission before travelling.

Bangladesh does not run one national scholarship programme for incoming international students. Where funding exists for a foreign student to study in Bangladesh, it normally comes from a bilateral government to government arrangement, a specific university's own waiver for strong academic results or test scores, or the student's own government or sponsor. Check the specific university's own international office page and the University Grants Commission's Study in Bangladesh portal for any current offer rather than assuming a fixed scheme exists.
