Requirements

Bachelor's degree

A-levels, the International Baccalaureate or another equivalent qualification at the level the specific course states, and English language ability at the course's stated band: Band A (6.0/5.5), Band B (6.5/6.0), or Band C (7.0/6.5).

Graduate entry Medicine (MBChB)

UCAS application and personal statement, academic reference, transcripts and predicted or achieved grades, English language test certificate at the course's stated band from a single test sitting, passport for identity and later for the Student visa.

How to apply

  1. Register with UCAS and choose Warwick as one of up to five choices.
  2. Check the specific course's entry requirements and English language band.
  3. Submit the UCAS application by 18:00 UK time on 13 January 2027 for 2027 entry.
  4. Receive a decision through UCAS Track; accept a firm and, where eligible, an insurance choice.
  5. Meet the offer conditions, including final grades and the stated English language band.
  6. Apply for the Student visa once the place is confirmed unconditionally.

English test waiver

Warwick sets three undergraduate English bands: Band A (IELTS 6.0 overall, minimum 5.5 in each component), Band B (6.5 overall, minimum 6.0), and Band C (7.0 overall, minimum 6.5), shown on each course's own page. Tests must be completed in one sitting; the IELTS One Skill Retake is not accepted.
