Requirements
Bachelor
A secondary school qualification recognised as giving access to university study in Italy. Programmes taught in English do not require an Italian B2 certificate; restricted-access programmes such as Medicine require an entrance test.
Master
A bachelor's degree in a field relevant to the chosen programme, verified through a Declaration of Value or ENIC-NARIC comparability certificate.
Documents
Copy of passport, application form with one passport photo, Italian tax code (codice fiscale), proof that the residence permit has been requested, and a Declaration of Value issued by the Italian embassy in the country where the degree was obtained, or a certificate of validity issued by an ENIC-NARIC centre.
How to apply
- Select the university and programme on the Universitaly portal and complete pre-enrolment.
- Wait for the university and the Italian diplomatic office to process the application; the university may request an entrance test for restricted-access programmes.
- Once validated, apply for a study visa at the competent Italian consulate.
- Travel to Italy, contact the department secretariat, and complete matriculation.
- Register for the residence permit within eight days of arrival.
English test waiver
The university does not publish a fixed IELTS or TOEFL minimum for general admission. An English certificate (IELTS, TOEFL, Cambridge and similar) is described as useful for the study visa application, and applicants to a three-year, five-year or single-cycle degree course taught in English are not asked for an Italian B2 certificate.
